 Just wanted to confirm that yes, every time I changed from docked to
 undocked and vice versa Pidgin hangs, and yes, it cannot be killed, it is
 truly hung.  The latter aspect of this seems especially revealing.  Is
 there some way to change Pidgin so it can be killed?  What is it doing
 when it can't be killed?
