 Emoticons starting with the `>` character are no longer rendered by Pidgin
 2.13.0 for Windows, as observed for the following string patterns of the
 [https://developer.pidgin.im/raw-
 attachment/wiki/ThirdPartySmileyThemes/Yahoo__Messenger_11_Smiley_Pack.zip
 Yahoo! Messenger 11 Beta] smiley theme:

 `>:D<`[[BR]]
 `>:)`[[BR]]
 `>-)`[[BR]]
 `>:/`[[BR]]
 `>:P`

 This problem did not occur in Pidgin 2.12.0 for Windows.
