 Help->Plugin Information would tell you, but the best way to tell is by
 looking at the accounts list to see if there's any non-standard ones (i.e.
 ones from the ThirdPartyPlugins page)

 Yes, too many GDI objects (9,999) will cause pidgin to lock up and crash,
 but that won't eat up CPU while it's crashing
