European Portuguese Translation Update

Greetings,

I write you guys this email after my failed try to contact the european
portuguese Pidgin translator in order to ask permission to update the
referred translation. I think Pidgin is a very nice programme and in order
to have a higher impact near the users it's imperative that a good
translation is provided. This is not the case with european portuguese, in
fact it's quite irritating that you see portuguese and english combined
sometimes even in the same dialog box. In my opinion, the Brazilian
Portuguese is a much better translation than the European Portuguese,
therefore I ask for permission to use the work already done in this version
and update it to a new Portuguese version (there are some small variances
that must be corrected). I will try to provide a full version and I will
even use the new ortography which will bring both versions of the portuguese
language more together. Hope to hear from you soon.
