It is supposed to use the PRPL's name, yes (case sensitive).  I'm not
sure why else it wouldn't work.  Also, <i n='bigsmile' /> will most
likely not work, because of the HTML-like markup, but if it did, you
would need to use "\" to escape the spaces.
