Even though I believe giving the user's that level of control is nice,
I doubt it's going to get that many options if it is to be integrated
into Pidgin proper. However, I don't think that's a major issue, since
many (if not all) IM messengers do not allow much configuration for
this feature.
Amarok's OSD is just huge compared to a simple user notification
popup, since it's got much more information. It does look much better
than libnotify-based popups, perhaps because of the transparency.
