Updated Perl docs for Pidgin?

Hi,
I'm looking into using the Perl scripting abilities of Pidgin.  The only
docs I can find are for the old GAIM implementation.  Are there any updated
ones that I can look at?  Also, can I use Perl scripts in Pidgin on
Windows?  If so, what do I need installed?  Thanks!
