hey Carlos, not sure if you knew this but here is the  ticket for what you
are planning on working on.  http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/34   from
what I can tell both aMSN http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMSN and Kopete
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kopete have implementations that you could use
for inspiration. Both are GPL so should be no worries there. If you announce
on that ticket that you are working on this, there will be people worshiping
you lol, read the ticket to see what I mean.
