Project idea of Google summer of code

Hi Vikas!  My main concern with this project idea is that it doesn't
seem to contribute to Pidgin's primary use-case as an IM client.  I
generally feel like an RSS reader serves a separate purpose.  Sure,
there are some benefits to combining the two, such as sharing an RSS
item to someone on your buddy list, but that could be accomplished by
sending some sort of  IPC message from the RSS reader to Pidgin.
