I think realistically there needs to be some time allowed for all this
to gel properly.

In Fedora, trying to install gstreamer-plugins-farsight results in a
null transaction and a message that this plugin has been absorbed into
gstreamer-plugins-good. I have the latest gstreamer packages installed.

Now, when I look at the files supplied by the gstreamer-plugins-good
package, I find that the libgstrtpbin.so file is not apparently there
and also I cannot find any file containing the string 'siren' which
apparently is needed. I don't know the correct name of the file.

So far I have been unable to work out what is happening. Maybe waiting
for the imminent 2.6.2 release will help, I suppose it is possible that
the build environment is not producing the correct linkages between
packages.

As for CentOS, I really don't know enough to comment, but being based
on older RedHat releases means I suspect it is even less likely to work
just yet.
