Accounts screen on start up

Every time I start Pidgin the Accounts Screen pops up and Pidgin will not
connect unless I tick my only accounts (MSM).

Is this by design or can I make it connect automatically.

I log in from two computers and have "Allow connecting from multiple
locations" ticked. The effect above occurs whether one or both machines are
on.
