Deleted saved status reappears

Dagobert,
I tried that, but the saved status window is empty. Nothing to click on
or delete. ??

Just do the following: Right click on the Pidgin tray icon, go to
"change status", click on "saved....". Now a menue should appear, where
you can select and then delete the saved statuses. Tried it under Ubuntu
(Mint is based on Ubuntu) and Windows - works fine.
