problems installing Pidging

So what if I wanted to deleted this user an recreate it, how can I do that. I'm not sure what the password is that its looking for.

That message comes from the server.

I believe what is happening is that you're trying to register an
account (create a new account on the server) that  already exists.

You probably just need to set up the account in pidgin and use it
instead of re-registering on the server.
