Comment:

 I don't agree end users *need* the dialog in a visible place. I don't see
 "Debug window" in Firefox, Nautilus, or whatever random app. When a user
 wants to report a bug, there can be instructions on what info to include,
 what command to launch etc. The stuff in the debug window can even be
 written to a Logfile or something. It's not that the debug-window has any
 features a text-editor can't do...
