 Yes, it makes sense, thanks for the explanation. But I also think that
 "Status to apply on startup" isn't terribly useful, then. From a user
 perspective it would make a lot more sense to apply the chosen status when
 "enabling" (newspeak for logging in, it seems) an account, irrespective of
 the current status. I guess what I'm trying to convey here is that the new
 one-size-fits-all for account status is pretty daft, sorry for being so
 blunt. I usually have 2 MSN accounts, 1 GTalk, 1 internal corporate jabber
 and 1 ICQ accounts "enabled" at any given time, and not being able to set
 different statuses for each is a definite showstopper.

 The way Gaim 1.5 did it was much more flexible, so I think Pidgin as it
 stands now is about useless for me. I'll stick with Gaim 1.5.0 + start
 invisible patch, for the time being.
