 Well I can think of lots of situations where you might want something to
 blink and not be unminimized.  I don't think this is the window manager's
 responsibility at all.

 All raise means, is make the window visible above any other windows.  It's
 kind of hard for that to be accomplished if the window stays invisible.
 It's hard to argue that 'raise' (even with it's specific meaning) is being
 accomplished if nothing is happening at all.  I also don't see what
 *problems* changing pidgin_conv_window_raise() would present.

 Make it configurable in the plugin would work, and would be perfectly
 acceptable, it just seems like killing a fly with a sledgehammer.  Either
 way, I just hope this is fixed one way or another.
