Comment:

 Can you post a screenshot of that Outlook icon? I don't see how this could
 look like a "new mail" icon. And if it does I don't think this will cause
 to much confusion, because Pidgin is not a mail client.

 I don't get the idea of the green circle and dot, explain/mockup?
