 "Supporting" :-/ for AIM is just _wrong_. This just assumes that the other
 side of the conversation will see the smiley as well, which it won't for
 AIM.

 That this was supported in previous versions was A BUG, a remainder of the
 time where there was only a one-fits-it-all default theme. Yes, MSN and
 Yahoo (I think) use ":-/" and there it should (and IS) supported. But
 giving the user the impression that ":-/" works do make an emoticon is
 just wrong and it will lead to confusion.

 I request that this will be removed.
