 Sorry to cause such controversy.  Is it the case that I have been sending
 :-/ this whole time and on the other end, no smiley shows up? Or were you
 automatically converting :-/ to :-\ so that either one caused the slantey
 mouthed smiley to show up?  What changed?[[BR]]
 It's really not too hard to use the text-replacement plug-in if I have to.
