 To further add, I see this issue on Pidgin 2.2.0 at home and on my work
 PC.  I tried this with another co-workers computer running 2.2.0 and they
 have the problem.  Then I tried with a 2nd coworkers computer running
 2.0.2 and they did not have the problem.  (these are all WinXP machines).
