 Does anyone know what the last version of Pidgin or Gaim was that had the
 fully functional "GTK+ theme control"?  I can try to uninstall my current
 version of Pidgin, reinstall the old one, write the gtkrc file, save it,
 and reinstall the latest version of Pidgin again, but that is an awful lot
 to do for a workaround.  If this feature will be restored, then I might
 just wait for that to happen.

 In response to deryni saying that an interface always needs creating, the
 interface was already created.  It took more work to remove these features
 from the plugin UI than it would have taken to just leave them there.
 Maybe you can just revert to an old version of the plugin in your source
 control system to get the features back.
