 Yes.. I see this option now.. Its working as expected :)

 I did bit of googling and even checked the FAQs here to find out about
 this, but had no luck. Flashing window for new IM is basic feature and I
 feel it should be enabled by default. It is in windows version (like in
 all other messengers), but not sure why the linux version is different.

 Anyway.. Its working fine for me now... thanks :)
