 1) As far as I know, Pidgin does not yet support Jabber file transfers
 behind NATs. This seems to be a duplicate of #1768. #1768 was closed
 because file transfers through proxies are said to work are said to work.
 However, they do not work without a file-transfer proxy. Implementing
 hole-punching would be useful, but I don't know whether this is possible
 with XMPP.

 2) What client do you mean? "Jabber Messenger" can be any Jabber
 client.[[BR]]
 There are two standards for user profiles in Jabber, an old and a new one.
 Maybe one of the two is not implemented in Pidgin.
