 Hello once again Maoiku,

 After refining the tests I can conclude that:

 - "Default" can not list my webcam and when I press "Preview" nothing
 appends;

 - "Video Test Source" works fine;

 - When I switch to "Video4Linux2" pidgin segfaults;


 I'm going to try with another webcam just to make sure.

 Never the less here is the output from dmesg when testing webcam with
 Video4Linux:
