 I like "Account Type" better than "Service"  because it is less ambiguous:

 User: ZOMG! WTF! X is happening when I do Y!
 Support Person: Which Account Type?
 User: AIM
 }}}

 vs.

 {{{
 User: ZOMG! WTF! X is happening when I do Y!
 Support Person: Which Service?
 User: What do you mean?
 Support Person: XMPP/AIM/MSN?
 }}}

 I've seen this happen a number of times with "Protocol" and I think the
 same thing will happen with "Service".
