 I'm sorry, I don't think I'm quite understanding you. What exactly is the
 issue? (referring to "tab-color typing notifications")

 conversion will not display the tab bar when tab placement is set to Top"
 under "Show detailed information". (Yes I realize that is horribly long,
 but I'm hoping someone can help streamline it.)

 I suggest "Tab bar will not show when a window has only one conversation
 and tab placement is 'Top'" -- slightly shorter I guess.

 What I don't understand is why nobody thinks it looks equally horrible
 with the duplicate information on the sides and bottom as when the tab was
 open at top at the same time as the info pane. It's duplicate information
 just the same. I think either I'm the one confused or people just don't
 see what I see.
