 based on the new library when most users are familiar with the GUI client
 Pidgin) is not immediately obvious like ~/.gaim was, so we should probably
 better document that.

 On Windows copying the directory
 {{{
 C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\.purple
 }}}
 to the new computer works great. (At least in my case where I have the
 same username on both computers)

 I strongly recommend adding a short "Moving to a new computer" section in
 the documentation. Most users move to a new computer every two or three
 years.

 For Windows users, it is uncommon that you can migrate an application to a
 new computer by copying its subdirectory from the user's Application Data.
 Most Windows application store vital information in the registry and would
 break in unexpected ways if you just copy the subdirectory. So this
 solution works but is not intuitive for Windows users.
