 I'm often in areas where ports are blocked and one or more of my IM
 services will not connect. I think Pidgin does a poor job of notifying me
 and letting me stop making a connection.

 - It takes too long before Pidgin alerts me that an account was unable to
 make a connection
 - The only way to remove the could not connect error is to press one of
 two options: Modify Account or Reconnect. In most cases, I don't want to
 do I either - I simply was Pidgin to stop trying to connect because I know
 the port is blocked. I don't need to modify the account and I don't want
 to try and reconnect. I would suggest adding a "Close" button.
 - If you start Pidgin with accounts set to automatically connect and for
 some reason it cannot connect, despite you disable the account from the
 Accounts menu, Pidgin will still continue to try and connect until you are
 forced to push "Modify Account" or reconnect.
