 Our team is using Pidgin.  Most of us installed 4.2.1; one of our
 developers installed 4.2.2 and is experiencing problems connecting to
 Pidgin.

 ERROR MSG:  <username at domain>/HOME disabled authentication failure
 We are not able to enable or re-enable this account

 Here are the account management settings:
 Protocol: XMPP
 Resource: Home

 All of the settings are the same as mine except under the Advanced tab,
 I have XMPP Option selected: Use GSSAPI (Kerberos v5) for authentication

 The Advanced tab is missing the XMPP Option in Pidgin 2.4.2: Use GSSAPI
 (Kerberos v5) for authentication



 Why doesn't the Use GSSAPI option appear in Pidgin 2.4.2 XMPP protocol
 Advanced Options?  What do we need to do to fix this problem?

 We have reinstalled Pidgin several times and also deleted the
 configuration files and reinstalled Pidgin again.
