 I have just tried to find '''many''' examples of apps having their
 position remembered in gconf but it seems I have talked a little too fast
 (or maybe things have change with new versions of gtk/metacity ?).
 However, gcalctool is at least one app I found that have its position
 values stored in gconf. It always open in the last position you placed it
 on the screen.
 My pidgin is built with X seesion management support (Debian Sid build).
 How is that related with the problem ?
