Comment:

 Yep fair enough. I was only suggesting the removal of it from the accounts
 file upon upgrade to newer versions. However, if a given dns will not do
 SRV lookups / requests then pidgin could have a faq or have a switch to
 just automatically add add the connect server (if it is known - like in
 this case (with google talk)).

 The other issue i hit was that given irc networks use different ssl
 certificates, but i do not think this is of note. (they had different
 servers so if you connected one seemed to hit a different certificate...
 ).
