#7059: Option to synchronize buddy lists with servers automatically, all the time.

.. or maybe it could be a checkbox named: '''Store contacts locally'''...
 '''so you could _disable_ it'''.

This has to be one of the most annoying things about using Pidgin. I love
the client, but this one thing absolutely drives me up the wall to the
point where I can't stand it anymore. I ended up losing about 15 contacts
from the server cause of this, ( well, this problem + my own stupidity,
 but I digress...)

Can pidgin be told to simply not bother storing contacts locally? I'd
like it to synchronize with the contact list when it boots up, when I
close it, etc, so that when I go home and open up Pidgin after having used
it at work, I don't get 15 popups when I use Pidgin at home because I
decided to do some spring cleaning on my contact list at work.

In a nutshell: Essentially I'd like to to behave like Microsoft's MSN
client does... it simply never bothers you with this sort of thing, and
keeps it synchronized wherever you go. If you make a few changes to your
list at work, and go home, the changes will be there without pestering you
 about confirmations, questions, etc.

Or, if has to store them locally for various reasons, an option that
somehow makes it BEHAVE like MSN Live so that it will automatically "do
whatever the server says without bothering you".

Anyone else have share this concern?

 Thanks for reading!
