 As best I can tell I probably re-opened it because we are grabbing those
 bindings and not GTK+ and if they are in fact conflicting with (default?)
 SCIM bindings we may want to reconsider our choice. That being said I'm
 not sure we need to do anything here, but I don't use SCIM so I don't know
 what the SCIM bindings do, if they are changeable in SCIM, or how
 troublesome having them not work is.

 Koterpillar if you are still seeing this problem could you elaborate on
 what functionality of SCIM you are losing out on and on whether or not you
 can work around this issue on the SCIM side of things?
