 I don't think this would remove my confusion, as why should I associate
 this bit of text with the icon at the side? The principle for tooltips is
 simple: one UI element, one tooltip.

 Some icons (e.g. "musical note") don't seem to be covered by this patch.

 Finally, inline in the code is not the place to put a mapping from icon
 types to textual explanations for them.
