 Currently, pidgin sends 'composing' messages without being requested.
 XEP-85 says that a clietn should not send these messages unless requested
 to do so.

 "If the Contact replies but does not include a chat state notification
 extension, the User MUST NOT send subsequent chat state notifications to
 the Contact."
