 I'll admit I'm not fully familiar with XEP-0022, but Pidgin 2.6.0 dropped
 support for it, as the spec is obsolete and support for XEP-0085 (Chat
 States) seems to be widespread.

 Is this actually an issue in 2.6.1? If so, what is Pidgin doing?
