Comment:

 "reason 5", IIRC, is error code 5 which, as you might expect, translates
 into "Service Unavailable".

 I get these errors occasionally when sending offline messages to buddies,
 but I've been told my messages are still delivered (which is ridiculously
 silly). Are you sure your buddies do not receive the messages?
