Comment:

 Ok, I took another look at my settings and noticed the following. This
 happens with either version 2.5.5 or 2.5.6 of my settings folders. When I
 connect using capital letters for the start of my nick is when I noticed
 that it doesn't show any buddy status. For example, if I use ebustamante
 for username it will show buddy status, but if I use EBustamante everyone
 appears offline.
