 I have a similar problem, except that *ONLY* GTalk connects. All other
 accounts fail to connect with the same error: HTTP Proxy Connection Error
 502.

 Yahoo, MSN, IRC, ICQ and AIM all fail to connect.

 However, the actual IMs -Yahoo IM, MSN Messenger, AOL IM, etc., are all
 able to connect.

 OS: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1
 Pidgin: 2.5.5
 Proxy: Microsoft ISA Proxy server

 Here's what I've tried so far:
 * Changed the network settings to Environmental and HTTP (explicit proxy
 configuration)
 * I changed the MSN account configuration to enable "HTTP Method" and that
 worked for the MSN account

 Here's the debug output for AOL; it's similar for all failing accounts:
