Comment:

 I recognize that there is an issue related to opening several conversation
 windows at the same location, but I don't think that removing the ability
 to save and reuse the previous window location is the right way to fix it.

 If Windows' "Window Manager" automatically placed the window at the
 previous location and then cascaded from there, this probably would be a
 good thing to do, but as it is, you're hurting the most common case
 (single tabbed window) to help a less common one (lots of windows).
