 You likely want to upgrade to 2.6.3 as a number of issues have been fixed
 since them (among them some [http://pidgin.im/new/security/ security
 fixes]). Depending on chat state notifications for that sort of thing
 seems like a poor way to have designed the system, it would seem that
 presence (even specific presence to a specific routing bot) would be much
 better, but ok.
