 I think this would be cool, as a plugin or an option in the base system,
 to have several avatars and depending on the status show one or another.

 I've set libpurple as the component but I have no clue of where should
 this go.

 Any help for the specific functions in the API that I should use if I
 wanted to do this on my own is welcome. This is probably way too hard for
 me, but I can try.
