 pidgin does not steal focus, ever.

 Maybe instead of using new windows for password entry you could place the
 Enter Password field at the bottom of the Buddy List window? Couldn't you
 display the password field in the same place as the Modify Account / Re-
 enable buttons that appear when an incorrect password is entered?

 I understand that it comes down to personal preference, but losing focus
 while in the middle of typing your password is probably the most annoying
 thing of all time - and it's prompted me to uninstall pidgin at least a
 half dozen times since becoming a regular pidgin user.

 If nothing else, could you make this type of password functionality an
 option in Preferences? Maybe something like "Display password prompt in
 new window" or "Display password prompt in Buddy List window"?
