 Probably not the best way but..you could create an icon with a batch
 command to run something like this:

 pidgin -c <Directory where your .purple directory is>-guest

 where you use the '-c' option to set an alternate location for a purple
 configuration directory.

 I know the below directory structure isn't correct but it would look
 something like this (Assuming you're on windows):

 {{{
 pidgin -c "C:\Documents\ and\ Settings\leemes\.purple-guest"
 }}}

 Then all that person's (Guest) settings would be separate and kept out of
 your .purple directory.
