 Just as a point of information, you can get info on invisible buddies, but
 not offline buddies for AIM.  Thus, getting info is a method with which
 you can detect invisibility.

 This could actually be caused by the oscar prpl's own retrieval of certain
 bits of buddy information, but I'm going to leave that for Mark to
 determine, since he's far more familiar with it than I am.
