 I think the "get info" behavior is totally normal and I suspect there is
 nothing we can do about it (but if official AIM clients somehow disallow
 other people from fetching your info while you're invisible then please
 let me know).

 I'm not sure why the other person can see you when you're invisible... are
 both accounts on AIM and not ICQ?  If you open Tools->Privacy for your
 account, is the other guy listed when your privacy status is set to "Allow
 only the users below"?
