are both accounts on AIM and not ICQ? If you open Tools->Privacy for your
account, is the other guy listed when your privacy status is set to "Allow
only the users below"?
It does not seem to matter what other protocols we are using or not, it
hasn't changed the behavior. Whether I use just AIM, or AIM + ICQ and/or
others, or if the other person does the same, we've tried it all. And
we've both tried all combinations of the privacy settings to no avail...
but no, neither of us are in an allow/deny list under privacy, nor are we
blocking anyone to begin with. Hope this helps.
