Comment(by constantlogic):

"The list should work fine until you're disconnected for the first time,
after which it behaves incorrectly in unpredictable ways, but always with
 old entries remaining around indefinitely."

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, you're misunderstanding me, so let me try
 again.

The list never works right ever.
Not the first time, not anything.
It never shows me as opped even though I'm auto-opped.
 It never shows parts.
It never shows anything, before or after I'm disconnected for the first
 time.

The only time it ever shows what's supposed to be in there is when it
pulls the userlist immediately upon connection, and like I said, it never
shows me getting opped in the userlist, even though I'm auto'd on a
certain channel. I don't know how to explain it clearer.

I am going to try the patch, but I'm going to bet my chances that I'll end
up switching to another messenger while I'm on Windows.

For the record, I've tried to explain it as best as possible, and really,
I don't feel like anyone's trying to do anything but close this ticket. I
understand that I'm not paying for service or anything, but this is also
why I gave up asking anyone anything while learning Linux, and probably
why Windows users will never make the switch.

Forgive me if I seem hostile, but I am pretty irate that no one seems to
 be listening and just assuming.

For the final time, no, my list NEVER updates except for the very first
 pull of the userlist.

So no, it is NOT a duplicate, but I'm done playing let's close the ticket
 as fast as possible. /:
