 I see this is an old issue, but I just started experiencing this same
 problem.  It started intermittently last week while running version
 2.10.1, then stopped logging into Yahoo messenger all together.  After
 upgrading to 2.10.2, still can't log into Yahoo.  I can log into Yahoo
 messenger through the website and Meebo as well, with no problems.
