 Yeah, it makes no sense why I can run absolutely everything, the same as I
 always do, and be fine for weeks and weeks, but then sometimes right after
 I've done a computer reboot, or just restarted pidgin (resets the log so
 it's not quite so long under the day it was last opened), I'll only get a
 few days before it does it again. Then usually it doesn't do it again for
 weeks/months.

 I added GDI to my task manager.

 I do not have Pidgin.RPT in my .purple. I'm assuming you mean
 c:/users/myuser/appdata/roaming/.purple  There is no pidgin.rpt file, but
 the program isn't crashing so much as freezing and forcing me to end task
 in the task manager.
